Release Notes - Summer 2024

Features

Add A Co-Teacher

Teachers can now add other Teachers as Co-Teachers to their classes. Co-Teachers have full access to the class, similar to the original teacher, with the exception of adding more Co-Teachers or receiving class-related emails.

Co-Teachers can assign Missions, run GameShows, view Reports, and access Student information. The original Teacher can also transfer class ownership to a new Teacher after adding them as a Co-Teacher. Here’s a full guide on adding a Co-Teacher to a class. Access the Co-Teacher Guide

Website Enhancements

  • Teachers can now view and update student passwords directly, without having to bypass the password-locked security check. Additionally, they can easily download the Login Info PDF for their entire class.
  • The maximum size of custom activities has been limited to 50 questions to ensure optimal stability for student assignments and to maintain report viewing functionality.
  • The class size for ClassOS Pro has been capped at 60 students to ensure optimal performance, including smooth operation of GameShows and report viewing.
  • To enhance student privacy, direct links to other students on the Mathalon Winners page have been removed from student accounts.
  • A security check has been added during account creation to prevent bot sign-ups.
  • A new Unauthorized Error page will now appear instead of automatically logging users out when a website error occurs. If you encounter this page, please try clearing your browser’s cache and then log in again.
  • The ability to create student accounts independently has been removed. Now, accounts can only be created by a teacher or with the teacher's permission to join their class, ensuring better student privacy.
  • Custom activities now support localized numbers and currency formats for questions and answers. Free Form Integer and Real Number student answers are accepted in formats based on country and language. Additionally, Flexible Image Swap Manipulative answers now display the actual image in reports.

ClassOS Pro Updates

The Premium upgrade is now called ClassOS Pro. Mission assignments and custom activities are now part of the ClassOS Pro tier, aligning our tools with enhanced reporting capabilities and teacher support resources to help educators make the most of Knowledgehook. What does Knowledgehook ClassOS Pro include?
