Travis Ratnam to hone in on the importance of applying technology where it matters most: the classroom
TORONTO, ON (June 4, 2018) — GlobalMindED 2018 is an annual conference for educators, entrepreneurs, business leaders, policymakers in government and nonprofits, and first-generation college students. They will gather to learn from world renowned keynote speakers and take part in breakout sessions that discuss educational change. Attendees will share and build on their successes as they discuss preparing today’s first-generation students for the future workforce.
Travis Ratnam, co-founder and CEO of Knowledgehook, will talk about The Second Wave of Technology in Education. He advocates in the presentation that Instructional Guidance System technology is designed to help teachers scale the practices of math education in entirely new and powerful ways, giving them a level of control over their classroom instruction that was not possible without technology and the data derived from it.
“Knowledgehook is both honoured and excited to be represented at the GlobalMindED Conference this year,” says Ratnam. “I am thrilled at the opportunity to share my thoughts on the importance of applying technology in the classroom and the ways in which sharing data can transform the teaching and learning experiences in math classrooms, and how it can foster improved outcomes across schools and districts.”
Knowledgehook is an Instructional Guidance System (IGS) that uses engaging assessments to unlock insights and expert guidance for math teachers. Co-founder and CEO, Travis Ratnam, has been asked to join the keynote speakers at the 2018 GlobalMindED Conference.
