Overview

Knowledgehook is seeking professional individuals for the role of Leadership Development Associate in an emerging category with a fast-growing technology company.

Knowledgehook has recently launched an innovative new program designed to support school systems around the world with professional development opportunities led by industry experts and thought leaders.

We are looking for a charismatic and enthusiastic role model, who exudes energy, isn't afraid to look silly, can promote and perform in front of large and small audiences with ease, can be professional in workshops and has the "X Factor" that people are drawn to. You may not have ALL of these skills, but have enough faith in yourself that (with some training), you would nail all of these areas.

As a Leadership Development Associate you will lead workshops as a part of the Knowledgehook Math Leadership Series -- a growing thought leadership brand that delivers leadership programs for educators around the world. (No math subject matter expertise required!)

Knowledgehook’s purpose is to inspire and develop the problem solvers of tomorrow. We have a math education brand with a passionate fan-base and are assembling a purpose-driven team who love to collaborate and solve problems with innovative solutions.

You will

  • Host and facilitate virtual pre-scripted Knowledgehook Math Leadership Series (MLS) production workshops.
  • Network with a team of creatives and professionals from a variety of industries
  • Participate in training and production rehearsals for Knowledgehook MLS workshops
  • Maintain proficiency of the entire Knowledgehook MLS multi-workshop production and delivery, including through a Knowledgehook in-house professional certification program
  • Guide district math leaders through ongoing workshop modules and activities
  • Build and manage relationships with district math leaders
  • Build and manage relationships with Knowledgehook MLS consultants
  • Be familiar with Knowledgehook’s services and solutions
  • Work closely with a Production Coordinator to maintain district account information
  • Work closely with Production Coordinator and other Knowledgehook colleagues to respond to inquiries from district math leaders and other stakeholders
  • Coordinate with Knowledgehook colleagues, external partners (ie. channel partners, consultants) and others as required to meet objectives
  • Log and report back participant feedback on workshop content or engagement
  • Support critical priorities through teamwork and collaboration
  • Other duties as required/assigned

You have

  • University / college degree or equivalent training/experience. Experience in live performance is a plus but not required.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Suite, Google online applications and online conferencing software.
  • Access to a personal computer for video conferences and a stable wifi connection
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to collaboration
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • A willingness to commit to continuous learning, training and professional development
  • Bilingual proficiency an asset (French/Spanish)
  • Experience working with start-ups an asset
