As a Director of Software R&D, you will be responsible for ensuring that Knowledgehook’s software platform benefits from the latest emerging technologies to achieve the best possible user experience for all of the platform’s users. You will work closely with our team of engineers, designers and product managers to build this out. Get in on the ground-floor of new product innovations, as a high impact key contributor.

What you will be doing
Research the latest technologies and trends relevant to the user experience of product and present these findings to the engineering and product teams for potential implementation
Conceptualize, design, and develop AI models
Build an overall framework for managing AI models and the respective training processes
Design and develop the features necessary to be compliant with and exceed accessibility and privacy standards
Work with the relevant accreditation bodies to obtain formal certifications and seal for the above standards
Develop and manage integrations with relevant SSO and LMS platforms
Identify and analyze performance bottlenecks and pain points in the product for our global user base and work with engineers to implement solutions
Create, track and report on various performance metrics to the team
What you need to succeed
7+ years of experience in a product management/engineering role working on a consumer facing technology
Deep understanding of optimizing the user experience
Understanding of business metrics and the ability to translate company goals and objectives into digital experiences
Rigorous prioritization and time management capabilities
Strategic mindset - with an eye for identifying and executing strategic opportunities
Strong communication skills
Experience with ML/AI is considered an asset
