As we create new content for math courses around the world, you will be an integral part of the Content Team. You will be on the front line of creating content which supports math teachers to conduct regular formative assessments with their students, to enhance their own understanding of math concepts, to adjust their instruction based on student need, and to monitor each student’s math journey.
We have a math education brand with a passionate fan base and are assembling a purpose-driven team who loves to collaborate and solve problems with innovative solutions.
What you will be doing
Provide oversight and quality assurance for K-12 content (student items and teacher resource documents)
Act as lead developer for K-12 content
Create/maintain Content Writing Guides for content writers
Conduct content reviews in response to curriculum cycle updates in jurisdictions
Oversee curriculum alignment for global expansion
Manage contractors on identified projects
Create and manage budgets for content projects
Assist in the development of a long-term strategy for content/product
Co-lead in thought leadership for math teachers and consultants
Assist with content presentations and live demos
Consult with R & D on new product features
What you need to succeed
- A degree in education or related field, some specialization in math
- Minimum of 5 -10 years of teaching experience in K-12 math, across multiple grade levels
- Experience as a district leader in math or as a math consultant
- Experience writing curriculum
- Experience in publishing (math resources) is an asset
- Leadership experience in a math association is an asset
- Some fluency in French and/or Spanish is an asset
